The beginning of August is officially the half way point of summer and for some of us - wedding season. Wedding vendors are starting to get tired and wanting to veg out in the sun with an alcoholic drink. Some of us plan ahead and take a little break when we can.
At the end of June, I had the opportunity to head out to Kelowna for a couple of days. Continuing my new tradition (three years in a row now) I scheduled a photo shoot with a professional photographer. It wasn't an easy task finding a photographer in another location. I felt a bit like a bride looking for a destination wedding photographer. As such, I thought like a bride. I started my research online with an idea of what kind of photography style I was looking for and what my budget was. I looked for over a month before I started to branch out my search to another location. My search took me from Kelowna to Peachland to Summerland to Oliver, BC.
Thank goodness I was able to find a photographer that I loved her style and fits in my budget. (My budget was actually my tax refund.) The photographer I found was Shari of Shari Saysomsack Photography. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. The adults of our family were extremely awkward in front of the camera. My daughter could not care less about following directions. She was happy to eat her cheerios the entire time. But Shari was able to capture and take beautiful pictures of us.
