Some projects start off with the hopes of it being a hit and turns out to be a homerun! Some projects I am confident will be a hit and my daughter doesn't GAF. Here are the best DIY projects I made, she liked, and we got the best bang for our buck!
This playhouse was a massive homerun for these reasons: 1) I got a free box from work, made it into a house and drew a design on it. Super cheap project. 2) My partner and I painted it. #datenight. 3) She played with it for SEVEN months before politely asking me to make a different house for her.
This kitchen is a bit of cheat since I didn't technically make it at all. It is worthy of mentioning because if you are good with woodworking or know someone who is, a play kitchen will entertain the little one for a really long time. This kitchen is also very popular when other kids come over for playdates.
