WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS AND WHAT LEAD YOU TO START IT?
I am a Certified KonMari Consultant. I guide and support people through the process of tidying up their home using the KonMari Method. I read “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” as an overwhelmed new mom a few years ago and it completely changed how I live. When I found out you can be certified as a KonMari Consultant, I jumped at the chance so I can help others do the same.
WHO INSPIRES YOU?
I am so inspired by my clients and their desire to become better versions of themselves, taking the steps to do so and change how they live. Watching them go through this transformation inspires me to be better too.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR TIPS TO MAINTAIN A WORK-LIFE BALANCE?
This is something that I constantly struggle with but I find having and implementing boundaries and a schedule really helps. It’s hard to turn off when you’re running your own business so I find scheduling in leisure and family time to be so important.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR OTHER MOMS WANTING TO START A BUSINESS?
Don’t be afraid to reach out to others for help. This can be anything from getting advice from other entrepreneurs to getting help and support from your spouse, family and friends.
IF YOU HAD AN EXTRA HOUR TODAY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT?
I love to cook so I would use it to bake a healthy treat for the family.
